Calyptrochaeta spinosa (Daltoniaceae) and Papillidiopsis mahensis (Sematophyllaceae) – new records for India from the Western Ghats

The mosses Calyptrochaeta spinosa and Papillidiopsis mahensis have been discovered in the Agasthyamalai Biosphere Reserve in the southern Western Ghats. Both the mosses are new records for India. Hence, descriptions and photographic plates are provided for easy identification.
