Curcumin-loaded lipid nanoparticles for photodynamic therapy in the topical treatment of melanoma.

Overall, Cur-loaded lipid nanoparticles demonstrated favourable physicochemical properties, sustained Cur release, good cytocompatibility, and strong PDT activity against melanoma cells, supporting their potential as topical PDT formulations with negligible transdermal permeation.

Novel β-lactam-Octenidine nanoGUMBOS: A promising platform to address Bacteria linked to chronic wound infections.

It is demonstrated that nanoscale assembly enhances the antimicrobial performance of β-lactam-octenidine GUMBOS while maintaining favorable cytocompatibility, and a new class of multifunctional antimicrobial nanoGUMBOS is introduced.
