The Influence of Syntactic Structures on Meaning Formation in Discourse Analysis in Modern Linguistics
The aim of the study was to identify the influence of syntactic structures on meaning formation and information perception in different types of discourse, such as political, media, economic, scientific, legal, and artistic discourse. Syntactic strategies in official and literary texts were investigated, with a focus on their adaptation in international and Kazakhstani contexts. The research methodology, based on discourse and comparative analysis, revealed the role of syntax in text organization and meaning transmission. The study analyzed examples from political, media, and literary texts, as well as official speeches, which showed how complex sentences, parallelism, ellipsis, and inversion structure information and enhance the impact on the audience. The results of the study showed that syntactic constructions play a key role in creating logical coherence and managing rhetoric in different discourses. Syntax adapts according to genre, reflecting the characteristics of each text type. In political discourses, complex structures help to formulate multilayered arguments and draw attention to key points. Media discourses use short sentences for news and more complex structures for analyses, providing in-depth analyses of topics. Legal discourse relies on precise and multi-structured sentences, which are necessary to unambiguously understand legal rules and avoid ambiguity. Economic texts apply complex structures to analyze global trends, drawing on data and forecasts. In scientific discourses, formal structures contribute to the logical organization of argumentation. In fiction texts, syntax conveys the emotional states of characters, creating a multilayered perception and depth of the inner world.
