Lactylated histones mark virulence gene families in the malaria parasite Plasmodium falciparum
This represents the first comprehensive profiling of P. falciparum chromatin from parasites in sub-millilitre blood samples, opening up exciting new avenues to study parasite chromatin across human disease states.
