Single-Dye, Transfection-Free FLIM Multiplexing via Bioorthogonal Chemistry.

Fluorescence microscopy is a foundational tool in cell biology research. Its power shines brightest when used to visualize multiple independent species simultaneously, a strategy known as multiplexing. However, the compressed nature of the visible spectrum effectively limits the number of independent species that can b...

Improved cross-presentation enabled by fusion-dependent mini-proteins that efficiently reach the dendritic cell cytosol

It is shown that substantive improvements in cytosolic antigen delivery provided by the fusion-dependent mini-protein ZF5.3 result in concomitant improvements in MHC-I-mediated antigen presentation and B3Z T-cell activation, which could improve the design of peptide vaccines for immunotherapy.
