Inflammatory and atherogenic markers linked to white matter hyperintensities in migraine without traditional vascular risk factors.

Among migraine patients without major vascular risk factors, WMH were associated with greater disease chronicity and increased inflammatory and atherogenic indices, supporting an inflammation-related vascular hypothesis.
