FERONIA and ANJEA do not have a conserved role in self-incompatible Arabidopsis for self-pollen rejection

It is indicated that FER and ANJ are not required in the stigma for Arabidopsis SI pollen rejection, further providing evidence for a divergence in the SI downstream signaling pathway in Arabidopsis.
