Antecedent, landmark, and two-visit cumulative triglyceride-glucose index and non-traditional lipid measures in relation to incident cardiovascular disease in adults with cardiovascular-kidney-metabolic syndrome (CKM) stages 0–3: a nationwide prospective cohort study

Higher two-visit cumulative TyG-nTLP burden was associated with incident CVD after accounting for competing death, and incremental discrimination was small, and shared laboratory components limit claims of biological independence or synergy.
