It is demonstrated that BM actively disrupt myelin homeostasis and neural signaling within surrounding brain tissue, and this ex-vivo platform provides a robust experimental system to study tumor–brain interactions and to evaluate therapeutic strategies aimed at limiting tumor-induced neurological damage.
