Herbivore-induced sorghum volatiles mediate attraction of Cotesia flavipes: roles of DMNT and (Z)-3-hexenyl acetate in tritrophic chemical communication

These findings demonstrate laboratory behavioral activity of candidate sorghum HIPVs toward C. flavipes, and DMNT and (Z)-3-hexenyl acetate represent candidate semiochemicals warranting further validation under ecologically realistic conditions.
