Study on knowledge, attitude, and practice on antibiotic use and resistance in the urban community, Kancheepuram District

The findings of the present study support that irrational use of antibiotics is still very common, although there is moderate awareness on antibiotic resistance, and community-based educational initiatives, legislative control on antibiotic dispensation and pharmacist-led stewardship activities are needed.
