Anniemap: Vector Search for Viral Short Read Alignment

By measuring vector similarity rather than relying on long exact seed matches, Anniemap provides greater robustness to sequencing errors and genomic mutations, particularly advantageous for viral genomes, where substantial sequence divergence is common.
