Digital Transformation of Value-Meaning Foundations of Youth Identity: Culturological Analysis

The article is dedicated to a culturological analysis of changes in value-meaning structures and Russian youth identity under the influence of the digital environment. Digital reality is considered not merely as a tool, but as a new semiosphere, in which the fundamental mechanisms of meaning-making, communication, and identifica-tion are transformed. Based on a synthesis of classical theories (by P.A. Sorokin, Yu.M. Lotman, M.M. Bakhtin) and contemporary empirical studies, key trends are identified: de-hierarchization of values, fragmentation of meaning fields, transition from stable identities to multiple and performative ones. An original culturological model describing a dialectical relationship between value orientations, identity types, and the forms of sociocul-tural activity in hybrid reality is proposed. The paper analyzes the risks and contradictions of this process includ-ing algorithmic determination, the conflict between the “global” and the “local”, and the problem of digital ine-quality.
