Microbiome-based control of postharvest mycotoxin-producing fungi in cereals.

It is concluded that postharvest mycotoxin control is moving toward a digital-biological paradigm, in which microbiome engineering and intelligent monitoring systems provide sustainable, residue-free alternatives to chemical interventions.
