Heterogeneity of brain dynamics in genetic and psychiatric conditions

It is demonstrated that sample sizes in the hundreds are required for robust associations with psychiatric diagnoses, and normative developmental trajectories of source-space EEG across spectral organization, connectivity, and signal complexity are established.

Atlas-based electrical source imaging for mouse EEG: Application to an Fmr1 knockout model

An atlas-based ESI pipeline for 30-channel mouse EEG is built and tested against simulated dipoles, but cannot show that a labeled region is the true source in a live animal, and replication across recording systems, sex, age and injection-naive animals is needed.

FMR1 gene therapy restores translationally relevant phenotypes in a mouse model for fragile X syndrome.

It is shown that FMR1 gene therapy using delivery routes and vehicles approved for clinical use improves core phenotypes in a mouse model for FXS, and suggests that a dual route may be needed to achieve full brain coverage.

The m6A-mediated epi-transcriptomic dysregulation drives synaptic dysfunction in fragile X syndrome.

It is demonstrated that FMRP deficiency drives the aberrant translational upregulation of core m6A writers, a causal relationship definitively validated using CGG-corrected isogenic control lines and suggest a promising avenue for m6A-targeted therapies.
