Beyond the fruit: phenolic composition, cytotoxicity, antioxidant, and multi-enzyme inhibitory activity of twig and leaf extracts from four understudied Turkish Rosa species

The phytochemical profile and multi-target bioactivity of four Turkish Rosa species, R. hemisphaerica, R. horrida, and R. pulverulenta, were evaluated across vegetative organs and three solvent polarities and six antioxidant assays and inhibition of seven enzymes were determined.

Metabolomic characterization and multi-target biological activities of Saponaria pumila and Suaeda confusa: integrating in vitro and in silico approaches

In the present study, several extracts (ethyl acetate, methanol, and water) of Saponaria pumila and Suaeda confusa were used to characterize and identify their biological activities. The chemical characterization was performed using HPLC-ESI-Orbitrap-MS/MS. The total phenolic and flavonoid contents were determined by t...

Unraveling the responses of methylparaben on bioconcentration, stomatal regulation, photosystem II dynamics and scavenging activity in Lemna trisulca.

Methylparaben (MP) is a pseudo-persistent emerging contaminant ubiquitously detected in aquatic environments, where its endocrine-disrupting activity threatens both ecosystem function and human health, driving interest in sustainable phytoremediation approaches using submerged macrophytes such as Lemna trisulca. This s...
