Tirofiban after intravenous thrombolysis in acute ischemic stroke patients: An updated systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials.

Early intravenous tirofiban following thrombolysis was associated with improved functional recovery without a significant increase in mortality or intracranial hemorrhage on a relative scale and support further investigation of tirofiban as an adjunct to thrombolysis in selected patients with acute ischemic stroke.
