DrdR Negatively Modulates the Expression of Flagellar Genes via Interaction With FleQ in Xanthomonas campestris

It is demonstrated that DrdR acts as a transcriptional repressor of flagellar gene expression, and serves as a specialized modulator of FleQ that acts upstream in the signalling cascade controlling the expression of flagellar genes in Xcc.
