Faster and targeted raster imaging through non-rectangular scanning
A highly efficient algorithm for raster scanning an area of non-rectangular shapes is presented. This method can significantly reduce the required scanning time for e.g. microbeam X-ray diffraction and X-ray fluorescence scanning microscopy.
