Romanovski polynomials, Gegenbauer connections, and $\mathrm{su}(1,1)$ ladder structures

We study the monic Romanovski (pseudo-Jacobi) polynomials with degree dependent parameters $\beta_K=-K$ and $\alpha_K=c/(K+1)$.
