Findings indicate that zinc-mediated lysosomal activation by 1H10 enhances the autophagy-lysosomal pathway and attenuates tau pathology in AD models, suggesting that targeting lysosomal function may represent a potential therapeutic strategy for neurodegenerative disorders characterized by impaired proteostasis.
