The association of environmental exposures and area-level socioeconomic status with pediatric hydrocephalus outcomes
Exposure to environmental toxins and elevated neighborhood disadvantage are associated with worse outcomes in children with hydrocephalus and these results highlight social and environmental risk factors that warrant further investigation through biochemical or qualitative means.
