Genomic and genetic dissection underlying seedling drought resilience in oats

Two high-quality genome assemblies for drought-resilient and drought-sensitive oat accessions with contrasting drought tolerance are reported and genetic variants and candidate genes underlying drought resistance are identified, including an NF-Y transcription factor and its putative upstream regulator.
