Chitosan-polysaccharide composite carriers under in vitro digestion: Classification, gastrointestinal behavior, and bioaccessibility implications-A review.

Chitosan-polysaccharide composites should be evaluated as gastrointestinally responsive structures rather than as generic encapsulation matrices. We organize food-relevant systems into four architectures: interfacial multilayers, hydrogel and microgel networks, particulate carriers, and hierarchical hybrids. Within thi...

Functional characterization of CiCIPK8 and CiCIPK11 reveals their roles in osmotic stress via CBL-CIPK signaling in pecan (Carya illinoinensis).

Findings reveal that CiCIPK8 and CiCIPK11 function as positive regulators of osmotic stress tolerance by integrating ROS scavenging, osmotic adjustment, and transcriptional reprogramming.

A hickory diacylglycerol acyltransferase gene coordinates fatty acid metabolism and aluminum tolerance in plants

These findings establish CcDGAT1 as a functional oil‐promoting DGAT1 in hickory and support a model in which CcDGAT1‐associated lipid remodeling contributes to Al‐stress protection, and provides a transcriptional framework for linking lipid metabolism with stress resilience in woody oil crops.

Genome-Wide Analysis of the BBX Gene Family and Their Drought Stress Responses in the Gymnosperm Torreya grandis

This study systematically characterized the BBX family in T. grandis for the first time and identified key drought-responsive genes, providing valuable resources for drought-tolerant molecular breeding of this economically important gymnosperm.
