Discovery and Engineering of a Plant Glycosyltransferase for Efficient Benzylisoquinoline Alkaloid Glycosylation.

The fusion enzyme AtSuSy-L12-UGT74AN1M2 via the iMARS platform is designed, enabling in situ UDP-glucose generation coupled with highly efficient BIA glycosylation and identifying promising candidates for drug development.
