Neuroinflammation induces aberrant activation of Wnt signaling in astrocytes and impairment of cholesterol homeostasis and myelin integrity.

It is reported that inflammation is associated with aberrant activation of Wnt signaling in astrocytes, and a regulatory pathway of "inflammation → Wnt signaling → cholesterol metabolism → myelin integrity" is suggested.
