Dependency-Aware Chain-of-Thought Compression for Financial Reasoning

A Hierarchical Semantic Distillation Network, HSDN, is presented for compressing reasoning chains while preserving answer accuracy and logical coherence, and shows that graph guided compression is effective for high stakes financial reasoning tasks.
