Disrupted Brain Organoid Circuitry, Structural Organization, and Spine Morphology in 7q11.23 Copy Number Variant Syndromes

These findings demonstrate that 7q11.23 CNVs trigger pathogenic neurodevelopmental defects by derailing the trajectories of structural organization, circuit assembly, and functional synchronization during cortical maturation.

Emergent topological structure in spontaneous brain-organoid activity

Topological richness grows with network size, and second homology emerges significantly above the null only in the larger networks, and results show that persistent homology resolves structured topology in neural recordings at the scale experiments actually deliver.
