3CB significantly alleviated UC symptoms in DSS-induced mice, reshaped the gut microbiota with reducing pathogenic Pseudomonadota and Deferribacterota while enriching beneficial Bacteroidota, and restored microbial amino sugar and nucleotide sugar metabolism pathways of intestinal flora.
