Retrieving complete plastid genomes from historical xylaria: a hybridization capture approach for Fraxinus phylogenetics and wood authentication

This research established a feasible xylarium genomics approach by applying hybridization capture combined with next-generation sequencing to archived Fraxinus specimens, successfully retrieving high-quality plastid genomes with 99.89–100% coverage.
