In acute ICAS-related VBAO, a first-line SRT-based strategy was associated with better procedural performance than CAT, including higher first-pass recanalization, fewer strategy switches, and shorter puncture-to-recanalization time.

The bulging technique using a single Neuroform Atlas stent appears to be a feasible and safe treatment for complex, acute-angled WNBAs, with satisfactory short-term angiographic and clinical outcomes, but further studies are warranted to establish its long-term efficacy.
