Design of an In Vivo-Like Phantom for Quantitative Body CEST MRI.

PURPOSE To design and validate a reproducible in vivo-like fat-containing CEST phantom that enables robust quantitative CEST MRI for body applications by providing physiologically realistic relaxation properties, relevant endogenous CEST contrasts (amide, guanidino, rNOE, and semi-solid MT), and a controlled fat compon...

Free‐Breathing Hepatic Oxygen Extraction Fraction (OEF) Mapping Using Radial GESSE

Noninvasive assessment of hepatic oxygenation is relevant for evaluating liver both in acute and long‐term liver pathologies. However, existing methods are limited to single‐slice acquisitions and require breath‐holding. This study aims to develop and evaluate a motion‐robust technique for whole‐liver oxygen extraction...

Fast and robust q-space trajectory imaging using voxel-wise multilayer perceptrons for parameter estimation.

It is concluded that a simple MLP can provide high-quality QTI parameter estimates from short tensor-valued diffusion acquisitions, which enables five-minute, high-resolution QTI and may encourage further clinical studies of markers such as microscopic fractional anisotropy.

Evaluation of 7 Tesla pTx Body Coils Regarding Transmit and Receive Performance.

PURPOSE Most sites develop and use custom coils for 7 T body MRI since no standard pTx body coil exists, leading to diverse coil designs differing in transmit element type, layout, and number of receive channels. This study investigates and compares eight existing coils, including one remote body coil array and seven l...
