Plasmid-mediated multidrug resistance and the antibacterial potential of plant seed proteins

Chickpea proteins, especially the basic subunit (BS) fraction, demonstrated significant antibacterial activity against MDR pathogens, offering a promising natural alternative to conventional antibiotics.
