ANORMATIVITY IN THE PROCESS OF MASTERING THE LATIN LANGUAGE AND MEDICAL TERMINOLOGY: LINGUISTIC, PSYCHOLINGUISTIC, AND LINGUODIDACTIC DIMENSIONS

The work is a fragment of the research project «Medical Discourse as an Object of Comprehensive Analysis: Linguistics, Linguodidactics, Intercultural Communication, Literary Studies» (state registration number: 0124U001310). The aim of the study is to provide a systematic analysis of linguistic and speech‑ related deviations from normative usage identiՔed in the process of mastering Latin medical terminology by future physicians, to determine the psycholinguistic and linguodidactic causes of their occurrence, and to outline ways of preventing and minimizing them. The relevance of the topic is determined by the need to improve the level of professional linguistic competence of future physicians and the necessity to enhance the methodology of teaching medical Latin. The methodological basis of the study includes linguistic, psycholinguistic, and linguodidactic approaches, as well as analysis, synthesis, systematization, generalization, observation, contrastive analysis, and structural‑ semantic analysis. The research results revealed the main types of abnormalities, identiՔed the causes of their occurrence, and determined the role of interlanguage interference and cognitive mechanisms in the formation of errors. It has been substantiated that the analysis of abnormalities is an important tool not only for improving the methodology of teaching medical Latin, but also for gaining a deeper understanding of the processes of acquiring professional terminology. The conclusions demonstrate the necessity of a comprehensive approach to preventing abnormalities in the learning process. Based on the research Քndings, a system of methodological recommendations aimed at preventing and minimizing typical errors has been proposed. Prospects for further research related to the study of cognitive mechanisms underlying the generation of abnormalities, as well as the in̪uence of the digital language environment and AI on the formation of professional speech among medical students, have been outlined.
