Dissolution Enhancement by Binding Agents: A Potential Shortcut to Improving Bioavailability?

It is shown that it is possible to increase the rate, and in some cases, the extent of dissolution of four poorly soluble drugs using wet granulation with polymeric binders, followed by tablet compression – a simple and cost-effective approach to improving drug performance.
