The spatial learning task of Lhermitte and Signoret: Marker of bilateral hippocampal dysfunction in temporal lobe epilepsy
The results show that the ability to learn arbitrary object–location pairings is compromised in the setting of temporal lobe epilepsy with bilateral hippocampal sclerosis (HS), and the results suggest that performance on this simple learning task provides a useful marker of bilateral hippocampal compromise in epilepsy.
