Exploratory Associations Between Handgrip Strength, Fatigue State, and Cycling Performance in Trained Cyclists

The present findings do not support the use of the handgrip strength test (HGS) as an independent marker of acute readiness in trained cyclists, and HGS may complement assessments of cyclists’ power profiles.
