Behind Harmful Compliance: Behavioral and Mechanistic Divergence Across LLM Jailbreaks

The results show that harmful compliance, harm recognition, and capability awareness are separable behavioral axes, and that self-audit and hallucination patterns are not necessarily robust safety signals under adaptive post-training.
