First report of Neocosmospora ipomoeae causing root rot on Panax notoginseng in Wenshan, China

The morphological and molecular identification of the strain LHGF12-3 demonstrated they were consistent with Neocosmospora ipomoeae and the pathogenicity of the strain LHGF12-3 was confirmed by inoculating onto one-year-old P. notoginseng plants.

First Report of Alternaria sp. Causing Leaf Blight on Polygonatum cyrtonema in China

Strain AB3-4 featured brownish-green centers, white peripheral mycelium, darker central reverse fading radially, and based on morphology and phylogenetic pattern, AB3-4 was identified as Alternaria sp.
