Neutralizing and protective monoclonal antibodies identify antigenic sites in influenza H7 hemagglutinin and select for amino acid substitutions rarely observed at the global level

A panel of murine monoclonal antibodies to the H7 hemagglutinin (HA) was developed and identified amino acid substitutions in escape viruses selected by these mAbs and evaluated their impact in the context of polyclonal responses and natural H7 virus evolution over a >60-year period.

Durability and Breadth of Neutralizing Antibodies Against SARS-CoV-2 Variants Following XBB.1.5 Vaccination in a Multiply Exposed Cohort.

The observed waning of cross-neutralizing antibodies against emerging variants underscores the challenge of maintaining durable protection and supports the need for continued monitoring of antibody responses to guide evidence-based updates to COVID-19 vaccines.
