Oral health profiles in patients with autism spectrum disorder and Down syndrome in Romania: a caregiver-reported comparative study

It is suggested that ASD and Down syndrome are associated with differing oral health profiles, and the largely unadjusted nature of the comparisons and the small sample size should be regarded as hypothesis-generating, pending confirmation in larger, multivariable-adjusted studies.
