A high prevalence of fatty liver and metabolic–hormonal disturbances in PCOS/PMOS is highlighted, primarily mediated by insulin resistance, hyperandrogenism and unhealthy dietary patterns, which underscore the necessity of early metabolic screening and lifestyle interventions.
