Nucleosome Core Allostery Governs Chromatin Recognition and Cell Fate

The nucleosome core allostery is described as a fundamental principle of chromatin regulation that amplifies the impact of minimal nucleosome variations and provides a generalizable framework for how subtle variation within nucleosomes is amplified into diverse biological outcomes in development and disease.

A detailed molecular picture of protein folding during active translation

A hydrogen-deuterium pulse-labeling approach is developed which reveals nascent polypeptide folding at a high level of structural detail and its kinetic coupling with translation and reveals diverse strategies that promote robust protein folding during non-equilibrium translation.
