Characterization of Marinibium conchae gen. nov. sp. nov., a novel psychrotolerant mesophilic bacterium from mussels.
Detailed chemotaxonomic analysis revealed that the polar lipid profile and major fatty acid composition of strain MH2013T were distinctly different from those of its closest phylogenetic relatives, which strongly support the classification of strain MH2013T as a novel genus within the family Alteromonadaceae.
