TRS is characterized by the most severe impairments in GABA-A receptor-mediated inhibition and the highest levels of cortical hyperexcitability and inhibitory deficits, alongside shared plasticity impairments across schizophrenia subtypes.

Patient-Reported Complications and Outcomes of General, Central Neuraxial, and Peripheral Regional Anesthesia in Charcot-Marie-Tooth Disease.

Anesthesia-related complications are not reported more frequently in patients with CMT compared with controls, however, longitudinal studies incorporating objective clinical assessments and detailed information on anesthetic agents are warranted.
