Implantation of an ICD did not reduce the composite outcome of SCD or HSVA in patients with an LVEF of 36% to 50% and myocardial scar, and robust evidence is lacking regarding a scar-based approach to ICD insertion.

Cardiac MRI-Derived Right Ventricular Strain for Risk Stratification in Pediatric and Adolescent Arrhythmogenic Cardiomyopathy: A Multicenter Cohort Study.

Pediatric and adolescent ACM manifests a malignant phenotype with high burden of heart failure and arrhythmia, and RVGLS provides independent and incremental prognostic value beyond conventional CMR markers and could improve risk stratification in this high-risk population.
