Association of congenital heart disease with hydrocephalus and shunt dysfunction in early childhood: a comparative cohort study.

CHD is associated with increased risk of hydrocephalus, hydrocephalus, and shunt malfunction in early childhood, and the strongest associations were observed in defect types most frequently encountered during the first 3 years of life.

Benchmarking risk prediction tools in spine surgery: a national registry analysis of albumin, frailty, and surgical calculators.

Lower preoperative albumin and higher ACS SRC predictions were robust, independent predictors of increased risk for major complications, CD-IV events, and mortality, and Multivariable regression confirmed that ACS SRC remains among the comprehensive tools for risk stratification in spine surgery.
