Crystal electric field analysis of the magnetic properties of ferromagnetic CeRu <mml:math xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"> <mml:msub> <mml:mi/> <mml:mn>2</mml:mn>

We report a detailed anisotropic studies on the magnetic and transport properties of a CeRu$_2$Ge$_2$ single crystal.
