Frequent Error Augmentation Training in Physical Therapy Poststroke: A Phase II

Although most between-group differences were not significant, combined frequent and error-augmentation therapy showed the greatest gains and superior postural outcomes at discharge and larger multicenter trials are needed to define optimal therapy dose in acute stroke rehabilitation.

Impact of Intense Physical Therapy on Mobility Outcomes in Acute Stroke Stratified by Cortical and Subcortical Stroke Location

A secondary, exploratory analysis suggests that both increased therapy frequency and EA training may contribute to functional gains in subcortical strokes, with trends similar to those previously observed in cortical strokes.
