Macrophage TMEM175‐Mediated Transcriptional Regulation of Cathepsins Drives Bacterial Killing in Sepsis

It is hypothesized that TMEM175 deficiency exacerbates sepsis by impairing CTSD activity, and TMEM175 expression was significantly downregulated in PBMCs from septic patients.
